Proposal for a new train station in Sibenik, fot the intercity train services by a DMU trainset
to the City Council in Sibenik

Dear Ladies and Gentlemen,
As an economist I looked at Sibenik, and I have found that the railway line is not in use, except for some seasonal trains. There are some unfinished works in the centre of Sibenik. If there were some more tracks, like 500 meters or more, in the direction of the city bus station, then the railway could probably function not only sometimes in the summer, but across the whole year, like in Europe.
I looked at the huge works already done, and I would suggest that the town authorities and some infrastructure provider would sing some agreement on the finishing of a new station, new terminus for the Šibenik- Zagreb and Sibenik - Perkovic (change of direction)- Split intercity trains that could go across the whole summer.
Can You please decide for the new railway terminus in Sibenik, closer to the historical city centre? Is it possible to connect the rail station with ferry and bus stations with some direct staircase? Is it really that much money to add some extra 500 meters of track with some one platform (for start) or two (for some extra trains, as an extension) platforms?
Cheers,
Adam Fularz

P.S. What do you think about the Sibenik- Mandalina- Razine train shuttle, that would go every 30 minutes as a suburban railway in Sibenik, for the whole year?
Cheers,
Adam
